The E61 with airsapring i quite good. But problems that I've seen is: - Broken cables leading to the sensor,- replace the last 30 cm with new BMW socket/wire/rubber seal - The Level sensor itself. Try to un-mount an wire it up to 5V supply an measure output. The sensor should read about 2,5 V with the sensor arm pointing to the plug.
There is no such thing as a remote key module. The locking/unlocking feature from the remote is controlled by several things. You've posted in the E60 section, so I'm guessing that's what you have. Some of the components of the system would be the antenna, the CAS module, and probably the body module as well.

I have already fixed the right side, and today I started with the left side. Unfortunately I was rushing the process, and I cut all the wires before actually checking the color codes.

Just wanted to report on my fix for the 93f9 control module failure code that I recently solved. At first this code showed up periodically. It would show up with a few other codes in the SGM-SIM module. This article gives detailed instructions on replacing the thermostat in a 2006-2010 BMW E60 5 series vehicle with the N52 6 cylinder engine. Even though we used a 2006 530xi touring wagon to perform this repair, this article can be applied to any vehicle with the N52 engine including the 1,3,5,6,7 X1,X3,X5 and Z4 with minor modifications to the repair steps.
The voltage will drop to 8V or so, from 12.5V, assuming a charged healthy battery. The internal battery resistance is therefore (12.5-8)/200 = 22.5mOhms. Every 0.5V change in charge voltage therefore could add 0.5V/0.0225 = 22A to the charge current. That is why I said 0.5V change is a big deal.
